About LinksLineup

PGA Tour golf pools with live standings and group chat. Built for serious groups.

Overview

What Is LinksLineup?

LinksLineup is a golf pool platform built for PGA Tour fans who want real competition without the spreadsheet headache. Create a pool or league, invite your people, pick your golfers, and watch live standings update all weekend — automatically.

Whether it's five friends sweating a Sunday back nine or a 40-person office pool with side bets, LinksLineup handles everything from tee time to final putt.

How It Works

Up and Running in 60 Seconds

  1. The commissioner creates a pool or league and sets the rules.
  2. Share one invite link with your group — no accounts required to browse.
  3. Participants submit their rosters before the tournament starts.
  4. Picks lock automatically at the first tee shot. No last-minute swaps.
  5. Scores, positions, and the leaderboard update automatically throughout the week.
  6. Final standings settle when the tournament ends. The champion is declared.
Pools

Single-Tournament Pools

A pool is your classic golf group bet — one tournament, one leaderboard, winner takes the glory (and possibly the cash). The commissioner sets the rules, shares a link, and everyone else shows up to pick.

Pools work great for marquee events: The Masters, The Open, Ryder Cup, any major you and your group actually care about. Create one in under a minute, lock it at tee time, and let LinksLineup do the rest.

Leagues

Season-Long Leagues

Leagues take it up a notch — compete across an entire season of PGA Tour events, not just one weekend. Create a league, pick your tournaments, and invite friends before the first tee time.

Two formats are available:

  • Weekly Re-Pick — Submit a fresh team each week. Great for leagues where everyone stays engaged all season.
  • Season-Long — Lock your roster at the start and ride it all season. Live or die with your picks.

League standings can be scored two ways:

  • Cumulative strokes — add up stroke totals each week, lowest wins the season.
  • Positional points — earn points based on your weekly finish (1st = 100 pts, 2nd = 75 pts, etc.). Configurable by the commissioner. Makes every single tournament feel like a race.
Pick Styles

Three Ways to Pick

Every pool uses one of three roster formats — each one changes how you build your team:

Tiered

Field split into ranked tiers — pick one from each. Forces you to balance studs with sleepers.

Flat

Any N golfers from the full field. Pure picks, no restrictions. Simple and fast.

Salary Cap

Fixed budget, DFS-style strategy. Every roster decision is a tradeoff.

Scoring

Scoring & Rules

Only the best N scores from each roster count toward the total — so one meltdown doesn't ruin your whole week.

Score your pool by:

  • Strokes to par — Classic stroke play. Lowest total wins.
  • Earnings — Total prize money. Highest wins. Great for major weeks.

Handle the messy stuff:

  • Missed cuts — Add a stroke penalty, replace with a fixed score, or exclude entirely.
  • Withdrawals & DQs — Configurable penalties so a surprise WD doesn't wreck your scoring.
  • Tiebreakers — Best single score, sum of dropped scores, earliest submission, or coin flip.
Chat

Group Chat

Every pool has a built-in group chat right next to the leaderboard. No separate app, no group text, no chaos. Talk strategy before picks lock, celebrate birdies mid-round, and let the trash talk flow freely when someone's guy makes the cut on the number.
