1. Who we are
LinksLineup is a golf pool application that allows users to create and participate in golf pools for PGA Tour events. References to “we”, “us”, or “our” mean LinksLineup.
2. Information we collect
- Email address — collected when you sign up, used for authentication and transactional emails.
- Display name — optional, set by you in your profile.
- Google account data — if you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and Google account ID. We do not store your Google password.
- Pool and pick activity — pools you create or join, golfers you pick, and scores associated with your pools.
- Usage data — standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited. These are used for security and performance monitoring and are not sold.
3. How we use your information
- To operate the app — authenticate you, display your pools and picks, calculate leaderboards.
- To send transactional emails — pool invites, picks confirmations, and tournament results.
- To improve the app — understand how features are used and diagnose errors.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Email communications
We send transactional emails related to your activity on LinksLineup (pool invites, pick confirmations, results). Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also manage your email preferences in your account settings.
5. Data storage
Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure). We use AWS for hosting, email delivery (Amazon SES), and serverless compute. Data is stored in the United States.
6. Data retention
We retain your account and pool data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days. Pool history may be retained in anonymised form for aggregate statistics.
7. Your rights
- Access — you can view all your data in your account.
- Correction — you can update your display name and email in account settings.
- Deletion — you can request account deletion by contacting us. We will delete your personal data within 30 days.
- Opt-out — you can unsubscribe from emails at any time via the link in any email or in your account settings.
8. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
